Dear friends
This letter is for when you wonder if your small kindness matters.
Sometimes we underestimate the power of our presence the quiet way our lives can become a light for someone else’s path.
You may not feel particularly brave. Or strong. Or radiant.
But you showed up.
You listened.
You smiled when it was hard.
You sent the message, shared the story, said the prayer.
You offered your light without knowing how much it would mean.
And that is how hope travels.
“You are the light of the world… No one lights a lamp and puts it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on a stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.”
— Matthew 5:14–15
When you offer even a flicker of compassion, you help someone else see more clearly.
When you share a story of survival, healing, or faith, you help someone remember what’s possible.
When you sit beside someone in the dark, not trying to fix it but just being there, your presence becomes a lantern.
Light multiplies when it’s given away.
And sometimes, in the act of lighting another’s path, you find yourself re-lit too.
So if you’re wondering today whether your quiet life of love matters—know this:
Someone is walking with more courage because of the light you’ve offered.
Keep shining imperfectly, vulnerably, faithfully.
Keep trusting that the small things carry eternal weight.
And when you’re the one needing a light, let someone else hold theirs up for you.
Together, we create a constellation of hope.
With gentleness and grace,
Lisa Raie xox
